Hi all,
Jamie and Paul each found a bug in the patch I created. Jamie mentioned that the info link on the IP Address Page is totally borked and Paul discovered that clicks on categories where added to page views if a page with the same ID exists. So here is a new version of the patch and the full download.
Just for reminders, the patch is against this svn version of StatTraq available.

So the trackbacks above didn’t work quite as hoped; here’s a summary:
I’ve made a modification to this version of the StatTraq plugin, which allows one to specify a list of users which will NOT have statistics generated for them. So I’ve added my own account to the list, and now when I view my posts, it isn’t counted as an actual reader.
The modification is available from here; I think it would be great if it were to be included into the main development version on this site.

To get your changes incorporated into the main development branch contact Randy Peterman (http://www.randypeterman.com/StatTraq/) who is the author of StatTraq. I just made sure that StatTraq run with 1.5.

Is it possible for StatTraq to ignore users based on their cookies? For example, I don’t want certain users’ visits to be counted (the writers’, that is). Is that doable?
